Annice Jeanette Jones

Annice "Jeanette" Reid Jones, 79, a retired financial secretary of over thirty years for First Baptist Church of Florence, MS, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Mississippi Care Center in Corinth, MS. Ms. Jones was born December 30, 1937 in Choctaw County, MS to the late Halbert and Marie (Dunn) Reid.

Ms. Jones was a strong Christian believer and member of First Baptist Church in Florence. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy L. Jones.

Funeral Services for Ms. Jones will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 3PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Interment will follow in the Enon cemetery in Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Coleman Funeral Home. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Ms. Jones is survived by her daughter Leigh Ann Beaty and husband Brett of Corinth, MS, brother Eugene Reid and wife Shelia of Ackerman, MS; sisters Pam Miller and husband Buddy of Sturgis, MS and Lanita Cochran and husband Leon of Tupelo, MS. She is also survived by four grandchildren and spouses, Brittany Potts (Jesse), Brad Beaty (Kaitlyn), Brooke Kemp (Cody), and Bryce Beaty (LeeAnne); three great grandchildren, Axyl Potts, Cotton Kemp, and Adler Potts; several nieces and nephews, and her dear special friend, Dorothy Beaty.

Memorials in memory of Ms. Jones may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
