Bettye C. Bryant

Bettye C. Bryant, 81, went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 4, 2015. She left this life surrounded in the safety and comfort of her family at her home in Ackerman, MS.
Funeral services for Bettye C Bryant will be held May 7, 2015, 4 p.m., at Ackerman Baptist Church. Rev Danny Bryant and Rev. Danny Irvin will officiate with burial in Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2015, 5PM until 7PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman is in charge of all arrangements.
Bettye, a long term resident of Ackerman and wife of the late Dr. James Bryant, faithfully served her family, church, and community. Her children and grandchildren were very blessed to have her because of her caring and giving personality. Mrs. Bryant diligently worked alongside her husband for 49 years where she enjoyed fellowship with her husband's patients. She will be greatly missed by many.
Survivors include her daughters Beth Davenport (Kent) of Wetumpka, AL and Amy Womack (Brad) of Tupelo, MS. Grandchildren Cody, Adam and Allyson Davenport and Molly, Emily, Anna Kate and Virginia Womack; two Great-Grandchildren Ayden and Phillip Davenport; Brothers- in-law Danny Bryant (Connie) and Sammy Bryant (Willie) and sister- in-law Tommye Harris (Jack).
The family expresses deepest gratitude for the loving care and extraordinary compassion shown to her by her faithful caregivers, Margaret, Rosalind, Geneva, Brittany, Yoki, Kiki and Gloria.
The family request that any Memorials be sent to the Ackerman Baptist Church or Methodist Children's Home (805 N Flag Chapel Rd, Jackson, MS 39209).
