Bonnie Glenn “Butch” Johns

Bonnie Glenn “Butch” Johns, of Ackerman, MS, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Choctaw County Nursing Center in Ackerman, MS, where he resided. Butchwas born on January 28, 1948, in Choctaw County, MS, to Barney Casper and Laurene (Stephenson) Johns. He was 77 years old. Butch was a retired factory employee and a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held prior to service time from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Burial will follow at Clear Springs Cemetery near Ackerman, MS.

Butch is survived by his sister, Sarah Holloway.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Love) Johns, and his parents, Barney Casper and Laurene (Stephenson) Johns.
