Buford Lloyd Power

Buford Lloyd Power of Coldwater, MS, formerly of Weir, MS, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at hisresidence in Coldwater, MS. Buford was born on April 27,1943, in Weir, Mississppi, to William McKinley and Zora (Stewart) Power. He was 81 years old and was a retired construction worker and truck driver. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2025, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, with burial following in Reed’s Chapel Cemetery in Stewart, MS. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, prior to service time. 

Buford is survived by 1 daughter, Natalie (Ricky) Bullard of Winona, MS; 2 sons, Brandon (Ginger) Power of Hattiesburg, MS, and Adam (Amber) Power of Coldwater, MS; 1 sister, Dixie Power of Eupora, MS; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Buford is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers William Power and Johnny Power; and 1 sister, Narvelle Parrish.
