Carolyn Sue Thompson, of Louisville, MS, passed away onSaturday, May 23, 2026, at her residence in Louisville, MS.Carolyn was born on June 25, 1937, in Morgan County, AL, to James Auley and Maggie (Royer) Eubanks. Shewas 88 years old. Carolyn was a wife and homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors, working in her flowers, and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of Concord BaptistChurch.

Graveside services will be held at Concord Baptist Cemetery near Ackerman, MS, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026,at 10:00 AM. with Rev. Roger Griffith officiating and Coleman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Jeffery (Penny) Thompson of Louisville, MS; 1 sister, Joyce Eubanks Gilchrist of Somerville, AL; 1 granddaughter, Brittany Blanton;1 nephew, Terry Gilchrist; and 1 niece, Karen Gilchrist Higdon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hervey Kindall Thompson; and her parents, James Auley and Maggie (Royer) Eubanks.
