Charles Edward Baxter

Charles Edward Baxter passed away Monday, June 8, 2020, at his residence, in Ackerman, MS. He was born on July 11, 1963, in Winston County, MS, to Ollie W. and Peggy(Jones) Baxter. He was 56 years old. Mr. Baxter was a retired welder.

A private family visitation will be held at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, on Thursday, June 11, 2020, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Concord Baptist Cemetery. Maury Jones will conduct these services.

Mr. Baxter is survived by his companion, Rebecca Oswalt of Ackerman, MS, his mother, Peggy Baxter of Ackerman, MS, 1 daughter, Mandy Baxter(fiancé-Cody Gentry) of Gallatin, TN, 1 sister, Kathy Jenkins of Starkville, MS, 5 grandchildren and a new granddaughter expected in August.

Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by his father, Ollie Baxter, and 2 brothers, Kenneth Baxter and Danny Baxter.
