Charles Ellis Eudy

Charles Ellis Eudy, formerly of Jackson, MS, passed away on  Monday, June 30, 2025, at his residence in Ackerman, MS. Charles was born on July 16, 1935, in Mathiston, MS, to Charles Nelson and Lorene Jacquelyn (Ellis) Eudy. He was 89 years old. Charles was a Retired Firefighter for the City of Jackson. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

A memorial service will be held  at 11:00AM Tuesday July 8, 2025 at Midway Baptist Church in Carthage, MS.  A visitation will be held beginning at 10:00AM prior to the memorial service at the church. 

Charles is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Wooten) Eudy; his son, Charles Fairley Eudy (Jennifer) of Canton, MS; hisdaughter, Sharon Eudy Brown (Dana) of Pearl, Ms; his 4 grandchildren, Haley Brown of Pearl, MS, Dana Paul Brown II of Hattiesburg, MS, Sidney Brown of Pearl, MS and Everett Brown of Hattiesburg, MS; and his great-granddaughter, Emma Large of Pearl, MS.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Nelson and Lorene Jacquelyn (Ellis) Eudy and his brother, John Carroll Eudy.

Memorials may be made to the UMMC Batson Burn Center, American Lung Association, or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
