Charles E. Green

Charles E. Green, 81, a retired military medic and veteran in the U.S. Army, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at the VA Nursing Home in Kosciusko, MS. Mr. Green was born April 20, 1934 in Tomnolen, MS. He was retired veteran of The Korean War and the Vietnam Wars.

Funeral Services for Mr. Green will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2 PM at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman, MS. Interment will follow in the Bluff Springs Baptist cemetery in Choctaw County near Eupora, MS. Visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5PM until 8PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Green is survived his wife, Mavis Green of Eupora, MS. Two sons: Charles L. Green of Killeen, TX and Billy Wayne Green of Eupora, MS. Two daughters: Debora L. Black of Huntsville, AL and Amelia L. Green of Stewart, MS. and sister, Christine Stroup, of Houston, MS. Mr. Green is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Annie Burson Green, sister, Claudia Dodd, and three brothers, Joe Green, Jack Green, and Robert Lee Green.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bluff Springs Cemetery Fund.
