Christopher Hal Jones

Christopher Hal Jones of Louisville, MS, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at his residence in Louisville,MS. Mr. Jones was born on October 12, 1969, in Baton Rouge, LA, to James Hartness and Irma Rochelle (Willie) Jones.  He was 53 years old.

Mr. Jones was raised in Sturgis, MS. Although disabled, he was still able to enjoy fishing, hunting, and visiting his children and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed visits with his mom and discussing old times.

Memorial services will be held on Monday August 21, 2023 at 11AM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.

He is survived by his mother, Irma Rochelle (Willie) Jones of Sturgis, MS; 2 daughters, Laura Christyn (Cooper) Ellis of West Point, MS, and Elizabeth Brook Jones of Louisville, MS; 2 sons, James Heath (Alison) Jones of Arkansas, and Joseph Harley Jones of Louisville, MS; 1 brother, James Kelly Jones of Starkville, MS; 1 sister, Teresa (Derek) Weeks of Weir, MS; and 4 grandchildren, Caidyn Ellis, Dustee Jones, Jackson Jones, and Laikynn Rae Jones.
