Cloyd A. Robinson

Cloyd A. Robinson, 80, a retired teacher for Mississippi State University, passed away Friday November 13, 2015 at his home near Ackerman, MS. Mr. Robinson was born September 3, 1935 in Choctaw County. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Korea. He attended Friendship Baptist Church.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robinson will be held on Monday November 16, 2015 at 2PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Interment will follow in the South Union cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Monday at Coleman Funeral Home. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Jennie Collins Robinson, and a grandson, Brad Jones. He is survived by his wife, Clara Mae (Cagle) Robinson of Ackerman, MS, a son, Johnny Robinson of Ackerman, MS, a daughter, Vicky Jones of Sturgis, MS, a brother, Plemon Robinson of Columbus, MS, and two sisters, Shirley Robinson and O'Marie Roberts, both of Columbus, MS. He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials to be made to the American Heart Association.
