Dulphy W. Wilson, Jr., 75, a retired employee of 45 years from B & W Boilermakers, passed away quietly at his home near Ackerman, MS on Sunday, October 9, 2016. Mr. Wilson was born January 19, 1941 in Choctaw County, MS to the late Dulphy Wilson, Sr. and wife Erlie Mae (Clark). He was a member of the Providence Baptist Church near Ackerman, MS.
Funeral Services for Mr. Wilson will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at 2PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Interment will follow in the Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 11, 2016 beginning two hours prior to the service at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife Martha (Morgan) Wilson of Ackerman, his daughter Betsy Oswalt (Charles) of Ackerman, MS, sons, Scott Wilson (Lesa) of Ackerman, MS, and Daniel Wilson (Patricia) of Granitesville, SC, siblings, Hugh Wilson (Shirley), Larry Gene Wilson (Patricia), Eddy Wilson, Ann Nowell (Doyle), and Jettie Lucas (Harold), all of Ackerman, MS. He is also survived by his grandchildren Morgan Galvez (Daniel), Koltlyn Wilson, Chay Oswalt, Jacob Wilson, Molly Oswalt, Breland Anderson and great grandchild Melita Galvez. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lula Mae Henley and sister Emily.
Pallbearers for the service include: Jeffery Lucas, Adam Boggan, David Morgan, Samuel Wilson, Jimmy Morgan, and Anthony Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers are: Forrest Clay, Jr., Levoy Woods, Donald Chandler, Larry Edwards, Howard Shurden, Bobby Joe Miller.
The family requests memorials are made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Gideon's International, and/or Lebonheur Children's Hosptial.
