Edna Earl(Rhodes) Winkler, 98, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, at her residence, in McCool, MS. She was born February 4, 1923, in Choctaw County, Mississippi, to Luther and Hallie(Bowie) Rhodes. She was a retired Civil Service employee.
Memorial services will be held at a later date from Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
Mrs. Winkler is survived by 4 nieces, Diane Taylor of Ackerman, MS, Cindy(Ronnie) Eubanks of Louisville, MS, Becky(Gene) McIntire of Weir, MS, and Nan Bridges of Brookhaven, MS; 2 nephews, Tommy(Debbie) Rhodes of Tennessee, and Mike Rhodes of Baton Rouge, LA;k and 2 very special cousins, John Bowie of Raymond, MS, and Raymond and Ann Mallory of California.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice L. Winkler; her parents; 1 daughter, Rebecca; and 3 brothers, Ernest, Dan, and Bud Rhodes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
