Elizabeth Colene Jackson of Starkville, MS, passed awayon SundayJune 9, 2024, at her residence in Starkville, MSElizabeth was born on December 22, 1946 in Starkville, MS to William Brelan Jackson and Elizabeth (Daniels) Tillson.  She was 77 years old. Elizabeth worked as a LabTech until she could no longer work.  

 

A Celebration of Life for Elizabeth will be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Winston County near Louisville, MS on SaturdayJune 152024 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at Antioch Baptist Church.

 

Elizabeth is survived by her daughterElizabeth DeAnn Barksdale, and her 3 sons, Samuel Brelan Gitchell, James Travis Gitchell, and George Ronald Gitchell; her step-mother (affectionately known as Aunt Mommy), Marilyn Jackson; her two sisters, Susan Jackson Santucci and Cathy Dawn Duckworth; and nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Bruce Jackson.
