Elwyn A. Ballard

Elwyn Aline Ballard passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center Nursing Facility in Eupora, MS. Mrs. Ballard was born January 8, 1931, in Copiah County, MS, to Everett and Lela(Gillis) Templeton. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Ballard was a retired factory employee.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 27, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Eupora, MS, with Wyatt Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. till service time at the church.

Mrs. Ballard is survived by 2 daughters, Gail Maddox of Eupora, MS, and Lynn Ray of Ackerman, MS; 1 brother, Cecil Templeton; 2 sisters, Diana Martin and Margaret Hart, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ballard is preceded in death by her husband, James Sherman Ballard; her parents; 1 son, Ricky Ballard; 1 sister, Lizzie Maye Speed, and 1 brother, Joe Templeton.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Mt. Pisgah Cemetery Fund.
