Eva Marie Tennyson

February 4, 1919 — March 29, 2017

Eva Marie Busby Tennyson, 98, formerly of Ackerman, MS and a homemaker, went to meet her heavenly father on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Trinity Personal Care Center in Columbus, MS. Ms. Tennyson was born February 4, 1919 in Tunica, MS to James Marion and Eva Wayne Busby. She lived most of her life in Choctaw County, MS.

Funeral Services for Ms. Tennyson will held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2 PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Interment will be held in Enon Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at Coleman Funeral Home. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Ms. Tennyson is survived by her daughters and son in laws, Nona Marie and Dr. Dean Wilson of Oneida, KY, Rebecca Ann and Dr. Stephen Hood of Memphis, TN; sons and daughter in laws, Dr. Kenneth B. and Peggy McMullen Tennyson of Katy, TX, and Drs. John M. and Keyland Vanlandingham Tennyson, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Tennyson was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Tennyson, her brother, James M. Busby, a half brother, John Sid Stella, and her parents, James Marion and Eva Wayne Gunter Busby.
