Gaitha L. "Gay" Stacy, 74, retired bank employee, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Golden Triangle Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Stacy was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Choctaw County. She was born November 8, 1943, in Choctaw County, MS. Parents were James Harvey and Bernice M.(Alexander) Ray.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Stacy were held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ackerman, MS. Burial followed in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.
Mrs. Stacy is survived by her son, Kevin Stacy of Madison, MS, and 1 sister, Patsy Ray, of Oxford, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stacy, her parents, and 2 brothers, Billy Ray and Dale Ray.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church.
