Geneva Mae Guess, 80, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Neshoba
County Hospital in Philadelphia, MS. Mrs. Guess was born April 15, 1936 in Choctaw County, MS. She was a member of Mt. Nelson Baptist Church in Neshoba County, MS.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Guess will held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 1PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 5PM til 8PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Guess is survived by her husband, Rev. Curtis Guess of Philadelphia, MS, her daughters, Gina Mowdy (Tim) of Newton, MS and Tena Stovall (Steve) of Philadelphia, MS, and her five grandchildren, Joanna Pierce (Justin) of Union, MS, Hunter Stovall, Morgan Stovall, Trevor Stovall, and Maggie Stovall all of Philadelphia, MS. Mrs. Guess was preceded in death by her sister, Betty, and her parents Melvin "Jug" and Pearl (McCarty) Fulce.

The family requests all memorials be made to the Providence Baptist Cemetery fund and/or the Gideons International building fund.
