Grace Parish Myers

Grace Parish Myers, 82, a retired LPN at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS, passed away Monday March 23, 2013 at her home near Weir, MS. Ms. Myers was born January 9, 1933 in Attala County. She was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church near McCool, MS and was employed at OCH for 23 years.

Funeral Services for Ms. Myers will be held on Thursday March 26, 2015 at 2PM at Bear Creek Baptist Church near McCool. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 beginning at 10AM until the service time at Bear Creek Baptist Church. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Ms. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Myers, Sr., grandson Lucas Myers, brothers, Dewey Lee Parish, Jr. and Kay Parish, sisters Wilma Ingram, Christine McCrary, and Draper Johnson, and her parents Dewey and Mary Jane (Nowell) Parish. She is survived by her sons, Robert Myers, Jr. (Brenda) of Weir, MS, and Joe Myers (Marsha) of Starkville, MS, three brothers, Ray Parish, Charlie Parish, and Bobby Parish, all of Weir, MS, and two sisters, Betty Henning of Nashville, TN, and Ruth Bailey of Gonzales, LA,. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Robert Myers, III (Janet), Amanda Thompson (Josh), and Sam Myers (Ashley), and nine great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
