Heather Snow Young

January 12, 1991 — July 16, 2025

Ackerman, MS

Heather Brooke Snow was born on January 12, 1991. Heather is the proud mom of Xavier Aiden Young, Isobelle Mae Young and the late Harli Grace Young. Her children were her entire world and she fought for and loved them fiercely.

Heather was a beautiful, sweet young woman who was full of fun. She loved her family deeply, including her mom, dad and brother -and especially her children, Xay and Belle.

A graduate of Ackerman High School, Heather excelled in music playing flute and percussion. She shared this love of music with her children.

While running the “mom bus” she worked early on as a summer intern with USFWS. She also worked at MSU and with Worker Bees. Heather worked at SuperValue Eupora for almost two years. She was most recently employed with Northeast Exterminating as a service technician.

Heather was an exceptional young woman who accepted Christ at age six. She was a very strong woman to survive the death of her youngest child and continue to provide unconditional love and nurturing and stability to Xay and Belle. Everyone loved her little kid enthusiasm but learned to duck the fiery temper. She was known to say quite often “I am my mother’s child”

Heather was quite simply a Keeper. A great mom, smart and beautiful daughter, a strong supportive sister, a secret keeper, best friend, and a niece who stole the hearts of her aunt Teresa and uncle Keith from the day she was born -and that never, ever changed.

Heather Brooke Snow Young is survived by one son, Xavier Aiden Young; one daughter Isobelle Mae Young;their father, Charles Young; her mother, Regina Brooks Snow and father, Samuel Barton Snow; her brother Joshua Bailey Snow (Mathiston); aunt, Teresa Brooks (Starkville); uncle, Keith Brooks (Mathiston); and her best friend, Brandon Harris (Clarkson).

Preceding her in passing was one daughter age 3, Harli Grace Young; maternal grandparents, Allen and Martha Brooks; and paternal grandparents, Alene and Winford Snow.

Pallbearers are Ryan Perkins, Michael Mask, Justin Alford, John Young, Chris McBride, Brian Burton, and Christopher Montgomery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Northeast MS Technicians.
