Hugh Burton Long passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center, in Memphis, TN. He was born September 18, 1936, in Wichita, KS, to Chet and Imogene(Hunt) Long. He was 83 years old. Mr. Long was a retired teacher, coach, and pastor.
Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, 11:30 a.m., at French Camp Cemetery in French Camp, MS.
Mr. Long is survived by his wife, Martha(Cutts) Long of Holly Springs, MS, 2 daughters, Karmen (Tony) Whicker of Collierville, TN, Khristi (Ralph) Rogers of Holly Springs, MS, 1 brother, James Long, 5 sisters, Yvonne Jordan, Audry Womack, Judy Hancock, Lois Riley, Jeanne Goad, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Kirk Wes Long, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Memorials may be made to French Camp Academy Track Program
