Hugh Fox McCarty of Ackerman, MS, passed away onMonday, August 14, 2023, at his residence in Ackerman,MS. Hugh was born on August 7, 1964, in Choctaw County, MS, to Zoley and Bertha Nell (Tackett) McCarty. He was 59 years old. Hugh was employed by the Jones College Police Department.
Memorial services will be on Saturday August 19, 2023 at 2:00PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.
Hugh is survived by his wife, Tiffani (Lowe) McCarty of Ackerman, MS; and his mother, Bertha Nell Bounds of Mathiston, MS.
He is preceded in death by his father, Zoley McCarty.
Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church or Jones College (900 S. Court St., Ellisville, MS 39437).
