Hughbert Collier, 87, a retired welder, passed away Friday June 12, 2015 in Ackerman, MS. Mr. Collier was born April 13, 1928 in Choctaw County, MS. He was a member of the Ackerman Church of Christ and served in the U.S Navy during WWII.

Funeral Services for Mr. Collier will be held on Tuesday June 16, 2015 at 1 PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Interment will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery located near Sturgis, MS. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 16, 2015 from 11:30 AM until service time at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Collier was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Annie Wiley Collier and his first wife Jenny Collier. He is survived by his wife, Dona Rhodes Collier of Ackerman, MS, sons, Hughbert Collier (Gail) of Stephensville, TX, Raymond Collier (Laura) of Lubbock, TX, and Willard Collier of Opelika, AL, daughter, Bertha Stokes (Timmy) of Ackerman, MS, brother, Therell Collier of Phoenix, AZ and step-sons, Michael Rhodes and Dusty Rhodes of Ackerman, MS and William Rhodes of Memphis, TN. Mr. Collier is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

The family requests all memorials be made to the Ackerman Church of Christ in Ackerman, MS.
