Janie Lou Medders passed away Friday, April 26, 2019, at Choctaw County Regional Medical Center in Ackerman, MS. She was 89 years old. She was born March 16, 1930, in Choctaw County, MS, to Francis Daniel and Eva Myrtis(Collins) Crossland. Mrs. Medders was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April, 30, 2019, 10:00 a.m., at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bluff Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Medders is survived by 1 daughter, Janet Gazaway of Ackerman, MS, 1 son, Clark(Margaret) Medders of Gatlinburg, TN, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Medders was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde"Junior"Medders, her parents, 1 daughter, Margie Lou, 3 sisters, and 4 brothers.
