Jeanith White Burdine, 73, passed away on April 22, 2026, in Jackson, MS, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC).
Jeanith was born on September 14, 1952, in Louisville, Mississippi, to Sherrell and Kathleen White. She graduated from Louisville High School in 1970, prior to graduating from East Central Junior College in Decatur, Mississippi. She spent most of her working career in bookkeeping and accounting for various companies.
Jeanith was a member of Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ackerman, Mississippi. She was a devout friend and neighbor and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She took great pride in serving and entertaining others and always enjoyed keeping her home decorated for the next season.
Jeanith met and later married Bobby Burdine of Ackerman, Mississippi, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Sherrell and Kathleen, of Louisville, and her sister, Judy Cother, of Tupelo.
She is survived by her children: Steven Miller (Amanda) of Ackerman; Joey Burdine (Kimberly) of Louisville; Ronnie Burdine (Amy) of Ackerman; Donnie Burdine (Ryan) of Orlando, Florida; Leslie Collins (Blake) of Brandon; and Andrew Miller (Jade) of Brandon.
She is further survived by her grandchildren: Jacob Miller, Tate Miller, Joshua Kemp, Issac Burdine, Hailey Kemp, Tyson Burdine, Kinzi Burdine, Breland Burdine, Kailey Odom, Eli Burdine, Carmelina Brogan-Burdine, Nicoli Brogan-Burdine, Carlo Brogan-Burdine, Lexi Collins, Hayden Collins, Miles Collins, Kaylan Collins, Liam Miller, and Charlie Miller.
She is also survived by her sister, Margaret White of Louisville, and Jack White (Terri) of Louin, Mississippi.
Jeanith also left behind many friends and neighbors, with whom she had endeared herself. A special thank-you to family, friends, and neighbors who assisted her during her illness.
