Jo Anne Upchurch, 76, retired Administrative Assistant for Raspet Flight Lab (MSU), from Dora, AL (formerly of Ackerman) passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at her home in Dora, AL. She was born October 24, 1941, in Arkansas, to Duke Theodore & Zelma Lou(Barnett) Chaffin. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Upchurch will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Wood Springs Baptist Cemetery near Ackerman, MS. Burial will follow in Wood Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, 2018, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.
Mrs. Upchurch is survived by 1 son, Lee Upchurch(Sherry) of Sturgis, MS, 2 daughters, Patricia Ming of Sumiton, AL, and Christa Childs of Starkville, MS, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calton Upchurch, her parents, and 2 sisters.
