Joe Terry Cobb

Joe Terry Cobb, formerly of Ackerman, MS, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, in his residence at the MS State Veteran’s Home in Kosciusko, MS. Terry was born on January 31, 1942, in Choctaw County, Mississippi, to Henry Hubbard and Jewel (Prewitt) Cobb. He was 83 years old and was a retired railroad foreman. Terry was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

A private, family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Terry is survived by his wife, Joyce (Jones) Cobb; 1 daughter, Terri Cobb Blake (John) of Starkville, MS; 1 sister, Nancy Cherry of Westlake, LA; and 2 grandchildren, Latham Blake and Carson Blake of Starkville, MS.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Frank Cobb and Jimmie Cobb; and 1 sister, Margaret King.
