Joel A. Holloway

Joel A. Holloway passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Joel was born April 20, 1937, in Calhoun County, Mississippi, to W.T. and Clara(Hood) Holloway. He was 85 years old. Joel was a retired electronic technician. He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, with Rev. Jim Rhodes officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wood Springs Cemetery near Eupora, MS. Pallbearers will be Jason Holloway, Glen Morgan, Mitch McKinney, Justin Blake, Kevin Null, and Lee Wallace.

Joel is survived by his wife, Sarah(Johns) Holloway of Mathiston, MS; 2 daughters, Melissa(Don) Williamson of Chelsea, AL, and Rita Gardner of Davenport, IA; 1 brother, Wren(Florene) Holloway of Mathiston, MS; 4 grandchildren, Shelby Williamson, Kathryn Williamson, Morgan Williamson, and Tegan(Lee) Wallace.

Joel was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye(Peacock) Holloway; his parents; 1 brother and 1 sister who died as infants.
