Joey Lee McClain of Mathiston, MS, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Ackerman, MS. Joeywas born on October 15, 1970, in Maben, MS, to Larry and Cathy (Britt) McClain. He was 55 years old. Joey was a handyman and a member of Blythe Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Blythe Creek Cemetery near Mathiston, MS. Visitation will be held prior to service time from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.

Joey is survived by his daughters, Katarina McClain, of Mathiston, MS, and Megan McClain, of Fulton, MS; his son, Tyler McClain (Jillian), of Seminary, MS; his parents, Larry and Cathy (Britt) McClain, of Mathiston, MS; his brother, Ashley McClain (Amy), of Mathiston, MS; and his two grandchildren, Raiden and Scarlett.

Memorials may be made to the Blythe Creek Cemetery Fund.
