Johnnie Mae Stevenson

Johnnie Mae Stevenson, 87, a retired plant supervisor at Angelica, passed away Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the Choctaw County Regional Medical Center in Ackerman, MS. Mrs. Stevenson was born July 29, 1928 in Choctaw County. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in the Panhandle Community of Choctaw County, MS.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Stevenson will be held on Friday January, 1 2016 at 11AM at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday December 31, 2015 from 5PM until 8PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS and thirty minutes prior to the service on Friday at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Stevenson was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Stevenson, daughter, Brenda Nunn, her parents, Maxie D. and Neva Gladney Bradberry, one sister, one brother, and a great grandchild. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Morgan (Floyd) of McCool, MS, sister, Helen Collier of McCool, MS and five granddaughters, Donna Shea of Ackerman, MS, Amy Deason of Vicksburg, MS, Velvet Adcock of McCool, MS, Emily Starnes of Louisville, MS, and Ashley Hutchison of Sallis, MS. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church.
