Marie Oswalt

Linda Marie Oswalt of Starkville, MS, passed away onSaturday, March 2, 2024, at her residence in Starkville,MS. Marie was born on October 20, 1955 in Ackerman, MS to Erbun and Ida Mae (Sanders) Oswalt.  She was 68years old.

Marie was employed at Rolling Hills Development Center of Starkville, MS, for approximately 27 years. Despite her recent years of health issues, she remained active and faithful to her job, family, and friends. 

Memorial services will be held for Marie on Sunday, March 10, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.  Visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 p.m. till service time at 2:00.  

Marie is survived by 2 brothers, Lester (Joyce) Oswalt of Ackerman, MS, and David (Peggy) Oswalt also of Ackerman, MS.  She leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Ernest Oswalt, and an infant brother who died at birth.

Memorials may be made to any church, cemetery, or organization of choice.
