Mary R. Higgins, 66, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle Hospital in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Higgins was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church in Weir, MS. She was born February 3, 1952, in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Parents were Robert and Annie Ethel (Wood) Oswalt.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Higgins were held on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Airy Cemetery near Ackerman, MS. Burial followed in Mt. Airy Cemetery.
Mrs. Higgins is survived by her husband, Therrell Higgins, 1 brother, Paul Oswalt of Weir, MS, 2 sisters, Bonnie Sledge and Wilma Seawright, both of Weir, MS.
Mrs. Higgins is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Airy Cemetery Fund or charity of choice.
