Peggy Jane Baxter

Peggy Jane Baxter passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Mrs. Baxter was born January 19, 1940, in Oktibbeha County, MS to Hallie and Annie Laura(Hartness) Jones. She was 82 years old. Mrs. Baxter was a retired nursing assistant. She attended Concord Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 11:00AM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, with Maury Jones officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, 10:00 a.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Baxter is survived by 1 daughter, Kathy Jenkins of Starkville, MS; 2 sisters, Pat and Frances; 8 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren; and a long-time friend/family member Rebecca Oswalt.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Baxter, her parents, and 3 sons, Danny, Kenneth, and Charles Baxter.
