Ronald Boyd Griffin

Ronald Boyd Griffin of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Sturgis, MS, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his daughter’s residence in Hernando, MS. He was born on November 21, 1962, in Ackerman, MS to Miller T. and Shelby Jean (McGreger) Griffin. Ronald was 63 years old and a Civilian Procurement Officer for the Air Force at SpaceX.

Graveside services will be held at Morgan Chapel Cemetery near Sturgis, MS, on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Morgan Chapel Cemetery near Sturgis, MS.

Ronald is survived by his son, Colby Griffin of Columbus, MS; his daughter, Haley Painter (Jessie) of Hernando, MS; his father, Miller T. Griffin of Sturgis, MS; his brother, Gary Griffin (Sue) of Clarksdale, MS; and his 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelby Jean (McGreger) Griffin, and a nephew, Will Griffin.
