Shirley Joyce (Crimm) Miller

Mrs. Shirley Joyce (Crimm) Miller, formerly of Ackerman, MS, went to her heavenly home Friday, November 20, 2020, at St. Dominic Hospital, in Jackson, MS. She was born August 17, 1939, in Choctaw County, MS, to James A. and Annie Lee (McCarty) Crimm. She was a longtime employee of Ackerman Shirt Company where she made many life long friends. She was a member of Salem Independent Methodist Church where she was very active for many years. She loved her church and her church family dearly.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, 1:30 P.M., at Salem Cemetery in Chester, MS. Pallbearers are Wes Miller, Bradley Johnson, Tommy Beck, Chad Davis, Samson Beck, Nathan Brawley, Bryce Davis and Levi Davis.

Shirley is survived by daughter, Annette (Dearl) Brooks of Meridian, MS, son, Dale (Jan) of Brandon, MS, sister, Rhoda (James) Sanders of Ackerman, MS, brother, Charles (Karen) Crimm of Ackerman, MS, sister-in-law, Darlene Crimm of Huntsville, AL, grandchildren Amber Brawley of Olive Branch, MS, Autumn Beck (Tommy) of Robert, LA, John Brooks (April) of Greenwood, MS, Carrie Davis (Chad) of Germantown, TN, Elizabeth Johnson (Bradley) of Clinton, MS, Wesley Miller of Brandon, MS, 8 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bobby Joe Miller, her parents, and brother, Macky Crimm.
